About the house of happiness
Are you looking for an inviting vacation by the lake for your next short trip or holiday, a change of scenery with that special something?
A special highlight is the large private terrace (22.5 sqm) with a direct view of the bathing lake only 30 m away (with excellent water quality), which invites you to sunbathe, have breakfast or enjoy the evening sunset over the water.
The spa towns of Bad Salzhausen and Bad Nauheim or the Vogelsberg are recommended as nearby excursion destinations.
Two high-rope climbing forests are very close by: the "Kletterwald Gießen" is only 23 minutes away and the "Kletterwald Hoherodskopf" 30 minutes away.
Apart from its wonderful view, the Hoherodskopf also offers a breathtaking summer toboggan run.
If you are a keen cyclist, you can follow in the footsteps of the Romans along the Limes (UNESCO World Heritage). Our House of Happiness with a view of the lake is located directly on the German Limes cycle path and on the Lutherweg 1521 for hikers.
